FOR BABIES FIRST BOOKS - start with bold picture books with a few words that are simple and associated with the picture. Fun books involve routines and rhythm. It is important to have babies attention and that they can see your mouth, your expression, your eyes.

Over- exaggerate and don't be embarrassed. Babies learn by copying, watching your mouth and listening to the sounds and pitch of your voice. Using hand gestures adds to the fun. Clap when they try to make sounds or smile saying yippee or uh ow, they love combinations.
